saw this band last nite in sacramento...kinda blew me away cuz it was not what i expected to see or hear...i love cock sparrer and i love cover bands and to see two cute women and a strange looking bearded dude bust out like that was pure fucking joy!!! i was truely sold when i heard "new england"...i smiled through out the whole set...my only problem was their merch cost too damn much...i realize it was all handmade but come on the kids aint got that kinda cash... hope to see them back in the area soon...skip webber

I'm really confused by the first part of your analysis of the track, which is no where near hip hop, and not really urban soul ... closer to a Santogold than a Jill Scott. Black artists DO make music outside of "urban" soul and hip hop ...

I have the old xian folk album "There's more to life then I know" by Linda Rich. Wonderfully beautiful thrift store find!

I've been looking around on the internet trying to find out more about her and tragically it seems that her brother has been trying to find out what happened to her, for years now. I guess she just disappeared at some point.

yo im sorry but i was 13 when brad died ive been a fan of sumblime for along time there music is great, and from his lyrics id assume brad wouldnt want us mourning over him he would want someone to pick up where he left off and make more music for future generations so sublime can live on

I could see the WLWH influence as well; it's funny, I actually consider this to be the weakest track on the album (the rest are WAY longer and build a lot to create a much more cohesive album). It's like JM threw it on the record to have a single, almost.

Nevertheless, the video is pretty sweet.
